2. Intended Use

InstantReply is intended for businesses that use Instagram Professional or Business accounts to automate responses to customer Direct Messages. It is not intended for personal Instagram accounts.

All Instagram messages remain the property of the respective Instagram account owner. InstantReply processes message content solely to provide the requested automation services.

3. Information We Collect

When you connect your Instagram Business account to InstantReply, we access the following through the official Meta Graph API:

• Instagram Business Account ID — used internally to identify the connected business account.
• Direct message content — the text of incoming DMs, used solely to generate automated replies.
• Message metadata — timestamps and sender identifiers necessary to deliver replies.

• Generate and send automated AI-powered replies to Instagram Direct Messages.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the InstantReply service.
• Diagnose technical issues and ensure service reliability.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

• Meta Platforms, Inc. — Instagram data accessed through Meta's official Graph API.
• Anthropic, PBC — Claude AI used to generate intelligent automated responses.
• Railway Corp. — Backend infrastructure hosting. All data in transit is encrypted.

Some information may be processed by trusted third-party service providers located outside your country of residence. We take reasonable measures to ensure such processing is performed securely and in accordance with applicable laws.

• All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• Access tokens are stored securely as environment variables.
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

9. Data Retention

Message contents are processed in real time and are not permanently stored. Operational logs containing limited metadata (timestamps, sender identifiers, response timings) are retained for a maximum of 30 days for troubleshooting purposes, after which they are automatically deleted.

13. Instagram Platform Data

Our application accesses Instagram data through the official Meta Graph API. We comply with Meta's Platform Policies and Terms of Service. InstantReply requests only the permissions necessary to receive Instagram Direct Messages, generate automated responses, and operate the connected Instagram Business account in accordance with Meta Platform requirements.

InstantReply is intended for business use only and is not directed toward children.
